Dangermuffin has enlisted animator Brett Underhill to create a video for “Ol Fidel” from Dangermuffin’s latest studio album. The quartet will be touring throughout the summer in support of Heritage (which is available via iTunes). The record has been hailed as “a showcase for their coastal-influenced grooves melded with Americana sensibilities and Appalachian fingerpicking, which is a heady mix.”

Lead singer/guitarist Dan Lotti tells Relix, “Ol Fidel is a song about an old dictator, exemplifying the communist regimes of the past- he is contemplating his final days on the shores of the ocean, where he is met with the realization that all he can really do is flow.”
