C.W. Stoneking’s Gon’ Boogaloo is out now via King Hokum Records, marking the Australian bluesman’s first bit of success in North America after gaining a following in his native Australia and across Europe. Today, we premiere the video for the single from that album, “The Zombie.” 

On the tune and video, Stoneking says, “If you like to dance slow and hear children scream this is the song for you. This song is called ‘The Zombie.’ The music video was made by Patrick McHale, creator of the ‘Over the Garden Wall’ animated series which I voiced a character for (John Crops). The flickering effect of the pencil drawn music video, coupled with the song continually saying ‘zombie’ is guaranteed to rot your brains. Have a good time.”
