Ben Wright Smith has just released a new EP, In Parallel. The Melbourne, Australia-based musician, who has shared the stage with such artists as Alabama Shakes and Justin Townes Earle will be recording his next LP in Nashville with producer Mark Moffatt (Keith Urban, Neil Finn, The Saints).Today we premiere the official video for the title track of his EP, which features MRI scans of fruit projected onto the band. Wright Smith explains, “Me and my friend Charlie ended up on this website at 2 in the morning looking at MRIs of fruit as they grow. It felt like we were staring at these fruits for hours and then we looked at each other thought we should maybe use these for something… It was so late here that when we emailed Andy Ellison and he immediately replied and said that he’d love for us to use them and was glad we were enjoying the blog so much.”
