Nickel Creek made their first television appearance in seven years last night as Jimmy Fallon welcomed the California outfit to the late night stage of The Tonight Show. While Fallon’s incarnation of the famed late-night show has relied on more poppy acts in recent weeks, Nickel Creek definitely managed to hold their own on the big stage, winning over the host at the conclusion. Not only will Nickel Creek release their first album in nearly seven years, but the band will also embark on their first tour in as much time as the group celebrates 25 years together.
