The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester celebrated 25 years of the famed Wetlands Preserve this weekend with two shows featuring moe. and special guests. It seems as if every one of those special guests took the stage during the final night for this special performance of Sly and the Family Stone’s “Stand!” which led into “I Want To Take You Higher.”

Among the guests on stage were Jen Durkin, John Medeski, Shannon Lynch, Peter Prince, Terry Lynch, Shaun Bazylewicz, Dave Masucci, James “Fuzz” Sangiovanni and (deep breath) Aaron Maxwell. The February 8 show seemed to be a very light-hearted affair as moe. invited guests on stage throughout and worked in rarely played covers of “Sledgehammer,” “In My Life,” “Into the Mystic” and the Spin Doctors classic “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.” Check out the replay of the Sly segment below.
