Video: Krist Novoselic, Black Simon & Garfunkel Cover “Royals”

After Bruce Springsteen covered Lorde’s all-everything hit “Royals” during his show in the singer’s hometown of New Zealand, other rock legends have followed suit with their own interpretation of the song.

The other night in Takoma Park, MD, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic gave the song a try on his recent go-to instrument–accordion. An interesting take, at the very least. And then, last night on The Tonight Show, Black Simon & Garfunkel (The Roots’ Questlove and Captain Kirk Douglas) made their debut with a brief snippet of the song.
