The new James Brown biopic Get On Up now has a trailer. While it appears as if everyone is getting a biopic in the coming years, this one looks to be very promising. Directed by Tate Taylor (The Help) and produced by Mick Jagger and Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), the film features Chadwich Boseman (42) as Brown along with variety of other well known actors such as Craig Robinson as one of Brown’s sax players, Dan Aykroyd, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and many more.

Get On Up is billed as a “fearless look inside the music, movies and moods of Brown” and will showcase his rise from Augusta, Georgia to one of music’s most recognizable figures and a pioneer for many acts that followed.
