Video: Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways Trailer

August 21, 2014

As we near the release of Foo Fighters' Sonic Highways, the band has shared the full trailer for their HBO series set to air October 17. In it, you can preview some new music from the Foos (sounds like a song entitled "Something" with a lyric "I'm something from nothing") as well as what to expect in the series. For those of you not familiar with the premise, here's a quick summary: Foo Fighters visited eight cities and eight studios to record the follow up to the stellar Wasting Light. In turn, Dave Grohl then interviewed legends from those particular cities and turned it into his very own HBO series. Kinda brilliant, huh?

In the trailer, you'll see clips of interviews and performances of everyone from Pharrell, Macklemore, Trombone Shorty and LL Cool J to Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons and President Obama. Needless to say, this is appointment viewing throughout the month of October. Check out the trailer below.
