Umphrey’s McGee’s Jake Cinninger Records Jerry Garcia-Inspired Composition

Musicians across the world are celebrating what would’ve been Jerry Garcia’s 75th birthday today and one Umphrey’s McGee guitarist took the time to record a Garcia-inspired instrumental for the occasion.
Jake Cinninger shared the below acoustic composition inspired by Garcia as he sat around today reflecting on the legacy of the iconic Grateful Dead guitarist. Cinninger has previously played Garcia’s Travis Bean TB500 on a number of occasions, including the band’s stop at Red Rocks.
