Today, the greatest basketball player of all time, and one of the greatest athletes ever, Michael Jordan, turns 53. It feels like yesterday that MJ was winning ring after ring, dominating everything and soaring from the free throw line. If you asked him, he’d probably tell you he could still do it, and nobody would doubt him.

On this day in 2013, noted Midwest rockers Umphrey’s McGee paid tribute to the greatest to ever do it by walking on stage to “Sirius,” the now-iconic music used at Chicago Bulls home games during their introduction. From there, the group busted out “Trenchtown Rock” for the first time in three years, or 303 shows.
