Umphrey’s McGee Fans Damn Near Flooded the ‘SNL’ Facebook, Now It’s Time for Lorne to Do the Right Thing

Yesterday, Saturday Night Live got their fans all riled up for their probably mediocre 42nd season with a question on their Facebook page: Who should be the musical guests this season?
Aside from “Not Kanye,” the overwhelming answer was Umphrey’s McGee. Out of the 11,000+ comments, Umphrey’s fans flocked to the SNL Facebook page to tell Lorne that he can greatly cover up the lackluster comedy writing by inserting some wall-shattering rock and roll into the broadcast. Now, Lorne, it’s time for you to step up and give these Midwest kids their big break.
