This election season has produced far more groans than laughs so far, but Umphrey’s McGee really embraced the season last night during their Halloween celebration at The Pageant in St. Louis.

As the group typically does, they combined their musical mashups with mashup costumes that included Brendan Bayliss going as Cyrpus Hillary Clinton, Joel Cummins going with a deep cut political reference as Ken Bone Thugs & Harmony and Andy Farag bravely taking on Trump as Ronald McDonald Trump. Although, mashing up Trump with a clown seems redundant.

On stage, of course, the group also got creative with the mashups, bringing in tunes from the Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Lorde, Billy Idol, Daft Punk and others. In other words, it was just another Umphrey’s Halloween but let us take this moment to appreciate the addition of humor into an otherwise dreadful election season.
