Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue are burning up the airwaves these days. This time, the group stopped by Conan to perform once again on the program. Supporting their new record Say That To Say This, the group performed “Fire and Brimstone,” a soulful track that features background vocalists as well as an extended trombone solo during the tune. The host clearly seemed to enjoy the performance, exclaiming “they killed it!” as the show came to a close.

Troy Andrews (aka Trombone Shorty) and Orleans Avenue are currently on tour, with planned stops at UC Santa Barbara’s Campbell Hall as well as The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood and a tour closing celebration at the El Rey in Los Angeles. Watch the full performance of “Fire and Brimstone” below.
