From the moment we first met the Phish epic “Petrichor,” it always felt fit for a grander stage much like Anastasio’s comeback composition “Time Turns Elastic.”
In a short time, “Petrichor” has appeared as the centerpiece of a Phish New Year’s Eve show and seen the full realization of its grand status, including a recent performance of the song with the Nashville Symphony. This is definitely the most natural reading of the song yet, as it enters the arena it was made for from the very start.
