Opening night at Dick’s turned into a spelling bee starting in 2011 when the band started every song with the letter S and then followed that up the next year with the Fuck Your Face set that still ranks among the best modern era shows the band has played. 

First, it was the “Fuck You” set that included an early “You Enjoy Myself” as well as the notable “Undermind” that still rules as one of the best versions of the song ever. The second set finished the theme, with the expansive “Runaway Jim” and “Chalk Dust Torture” as well as the surprise “Emotional Rescue” (played for the first time in twelve years) before “Fuck Your Face” made its debut. 

Then, there was the “Grind” and “Meatstick” encore but I’ll let you draw your own conclusions on how that fits into the theme.
