This Brooklyn Nets Team Photo Is So Sad, Twitter Gave Them Horrible Band Names
Pictured above is longtime NBA journeyman Chase Budinger of the Brooklyn Nets. Budinger is posing with his teammate Yogi Ferrell, who starred at Indiana in college most recently and is entering his rookie year with the Nets. As for the other three people in said photo, your guess is as good as mine. I’m assuming this is some type of fan contest where the winners get to put on a jersey and pose with their favorite player. But I’m told these other three gentlemen are actually on the Brooklyn Nets, clearly doomed just minutes into the NBA’s Media Day.
There is no way around it: This is one of the saddest scenes ever captured by a camera. Look at the despair on Yogi and Budinger’s faces while the other three jabronis that won’t make it a week into camp strike a pose like this image will end up on a billboard. Just a heartbreaking scene from Brooklyn yesterday.
So sad, in fact, that Twitter took them to task giving them some really terrible band names inspired by some bands that you may be familiar with.
