CBS This Morning highlighted The National’s new Day of the Dead compilation on Saturday with an appearance from The National themselves to perform “Peggy-O,” the second tune they cover on the record to go along with “Morning Dew,” which they recently played on Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 

As a bonus, Bonnie “Prince” Billy also added his contribution, a stirring reading of “If I Had the World to Give.” In addition, CBS sat down with the Dessner brothers at the Brooklyn Bowl for a brief discussion on the record where they declined to say if there was a second volume coming. “I think we’ve done it,” both brothers agreed.
