The National Celebrate ‘Sleep Well Beast’ with “Day I Die” on ‘Colbert’

The National celebrated the release of their stellar new album Sleep Well Beast with an appearance on Late Show with Stephen Colbert to play the tune “Day I Die.”
The late night performance is one of many the band will have in New York City this week. Already they’ve played an intimate acoustic show at the Apple Store in Williamsburg and will play tonight at Bowery Ballroom to mark the release of their new album. Their tour begins proper on September 16 in Cork, Ireland.
