The Avett Brothers enlisted Judd Apatow for a revealing documentary on the North Carolina folk-rocking brothers, and the first real clip of the film looks solid.
It doesn’t appear you’ll need an all-encompassing knowledge of the band’s history to fully appreciate the film, just a genuine interest in a touching story of a family that birthed one of the most powerful folkrock groups of the modern era. The new clip profiles Scott and Seth Avett at their very, very formative years including some rare audio from their father Jim Avett doling out some sage advice.
