Tampa Bay Rays Player Wilson Ramos Gets the Phish Treatment During At Bats

Catcher Wilson Ramos routinely had Phish’s “Wilson” played prior to his at-bats during his six years with the Washington Nationals and now, in his new home of Tampa Bay, the chants are following him around. 

We’ve seen this become a thing in sports, famously with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The fad even spread back to the band, with Trey Anastasio wearing his jersey on stage at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Ramos seems to be the baseball representative of the “Wilson” chant, and here he is getting it during a recent home game in Tampa.
