Satsang’s sophomore album is set for release on March 20. The trio enlisted a number of guest musicians to join them on Pyramid(s) including: Nahko Bear and Tim Snider of Medicine For The People, Wookiefoot, Tubby Love, and Chris Berry.
Pyramid(s). The album will be released on Rootfire Cooperative which is a not-for-profit label with a mission is “to positively contribute and participate in the progressive roots, reggae, and dub community.” This approach reflects the material on the record, which seeks to activate listeners.

Today we premiere “Between,” featuring Nahko Bear. Lead singer and songwriter Drew McManus tells Relix, “There is a story I once heard a preacher tell about the importance of trust and surrender to our paths. The hardest place to surrender is between. Between our current place and where we want to be. Between mana and meat. Between what we have and what we pray for. The bulk of our lessons come from that space. To get to have an artist I admire and love as much as Nahko share in telling this story is an honor, a blessing, and a privilege.”  The group’s upcoming tour dates appear below the stream.
