North Mississippi Allstars will return with
Prayer for Peace on June 2 as the band offers up their eighth studio recording, following up 2013’s World Boogie is Coming.
Today, we’re excited to premiere the title track to the record, which the band tells
Relix was recorded “on the road in cities and studios we live; NYC, New Orleans, Royal Studios in Memphis as well as our home base Zebra Ranch in Mississippi. By recording quickly, honestly and casually on the road, we captured the spirit of our live concerts; feeding off the musical perpetual motion energy you can only generate by playing in a different city every night.
