Nashville quintet Los Colognes will release their third album The Wave, on May 12. The group, which is led by primary songwriters Jay Rutherford (guitar/vocals) and Aaron Mortenson (drums/vocals) has drawn comparisons to J.J. Cale, Dire Straits and even the Grateful Dead.  The Wave is the follow-up to the aptly titled Dos, which received high marks for its honest, engaging palette of Americana. Today we premiere “Molly B Good” from the forthcoming record (which is now available for pre-order). ” The band explains that the song “is about the pull between the demands of society, of cultural acceptance, and what is ultimately a higher ideal: presence within oneself and truly ‘knowing’ those around you.”
