Jonah Smith will return with his new effort Stay Close due out June 10 and today we’re proud to premiere a new song “Toast & Clementines” from that record, which finds Smith reuniting with Andy Stack. The two previously got together in October 2016 for two shows in Iowa. 

On the song, Smith said, “‘Toast & Clementines’ is a philosophical folk song that starts by paraphrasing Socrates and goes on to try to describe the author’s inner-dialogue as he has his breakfast and daydreams. The song is a duet featuring Melissa Ahern and the sturdy accompaniment of Andy Stack.”
