GospelbeacH‘s second studio album, Another Summer of Love, is set for release on June 16th on Alive Naturalsound. The new record continues to build on the psychedelic folk rock of the group’s debut, Pacific Surf Line. In our review of that record, we noted, GospelbeacH picks up the carefree musical innocence of 1972—at that unlikely junction where Laurel Canyon meets Haight- Ashbury… Pacific Surf Line would have been one of the best albums of the early 1970s. It works perfectly right now, too.”

Today we premiere “You’re Already Home” from the forthcoming release, which is now available for pre-order. Longtime Beachwood Sparks members Brent Rademaker who founded the group, tells Relix, “’You’re Already Home’ is one of the few songs on the album that was recorded live in Palomino Sound Studio by the current lineup of GospelbeacH that has been playing the West Coast and will be on tour this summer. The original title was ‘Darker On the Hill’ but the narrative in the song is that no matter how far I’ve traveled or how dark life became; home was always a place of peace and warmth for me. I just had to get there. So we changed the title and broke the cycle from melancholy to jubilation! There’s too much darkness in the world and with this song and record we wanted to do our best to reflect the sunshine of the summer of love!”
