New York based psych-rockers CHAPPO will release their second full length on May 12 (it is now available for pre-order). Future Former Self (Votiv Music) is the follow-up to 2012’s Moonwater and continues the band’s sonic explorations. Today we premiere “Mad Magic” from the forthcoming record and the group tells Relix, “Untethered from what keeps you grounded, ‘Mad Magic’ is a trip into the transparency of time, as darkness surrounds your field of vision. Vivid images, memories, and sensations overwhelm you. When did that moment happen? Was it today, yesterday, or has it happened yet?” Staring on March 24 CHAPPO will take to the road with Big Data and tour dates appear below.
