Song Premiere: BoomBox “Laid Back and Loaded”
We’ll prep you for the weekend with a song premiere from BoomBox. “Laid Back and Loaded” is the first new music from songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Zion Rock Godchaux since the departure of longtime collaborator Russ Randolph. The tune continues to build on the BoomBox sound, which Godchaux describes as “Dirty Disco Blues,” melding elements of backbeat, psychedelia and house music. Godchaux tells Relix, “This song represents the future of BoomBox and we look forward to releasing a lot of new music this year!”
BoomBox will be on tour throughout the coming weeks and the upcoming dates appear below the stream.
