On January 20, 2014 the David Lynch Foundation presented Ringo Starr the Lifetime of Peace and Love Award at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. The night featured music by a variety of artists including Ben Folds, Ben Harper, Joe Walsh,The Head And The Heart, Bettye LaVette and Brendan Benson. Don Was served as the evening’s musical director, with a house band of Peter Frampton, Kenny Aronoff, Steve Lukather and Benmont Tench. Communion Record will release Ringo Starr: The Lifetime of Peace & Love Tribute Concert on December 4, which presents the music from that evening. 

Today we premiere Ben Folds’ version of “Oh My My” which originally appeared on Starr’s 1973 album, Ringo.
