Last week we told you about this budding entrepreneur who decided to preserve his Federal Donut offering like a piece of dino DNA in Jurassic Park. Now, we have a few important updates as bidding winds to a close, as it appears as if at least one person is taking the bait with an opening of bid of $350.

There is still some confusion as to whether we’re talking $350 for the collect-’em-all set of 13 OR just the coconut donut as the listing suggests. There is also a maple donut up for sale from the same user which has yet to receive a bid, but you can have it for $350.

The glazed donut will gut your bank account a little further, running at a BUY IT NOW price of $1313 (because, you see, they played 13 nights). Otherwise, bidding starts at a cool grand. 

You people know you can’t eat the donut, right? This is going on your shelf next to that middle school basketball participation trophy and the Beatles signed album cover you bought at that shady memorabilia store next to the Sbarro.
