Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood Hung Out with George Porter Jr. in New Orleans the Other Night

April 6, 2017

Radiohead made their triumphant return to New Orleans earlier in the week as their tour continued and the fun didn’t stop there for the members of the iconic band as some of them hit the town to check out some local music.

Bassist Colin Greenwood made the right decision to pay his respects to George Porter Jr. at The Maple Leaf Bar where The Meters bassist was holding down a late night show. “Colin and I had a great chat after the show,” Porter wrote on his Facebook page while also adding that a member of Arcade Fire was also in attendance. Win Butler recently moved to New Orleans and the band is rumored to be recording their new record in the Crescent City.

For Greenwood’s part, watch him and his Radiohead bandmates tear through a stellar and visually stunning “Paranoid Android” at the Smoothie King Center.
