Queens of the Stone Age are Taking Over New York City’s Q Line Today

Tomorrow night, Queens of the Stone Age will play Madison Square Garden with Royal Blood and today the band is making the commute to the venue all the more exciting as they littered New York City’s Q line with free tickets to tonight’s show and other QOTSA-related flourishes.
Along with changing the Q sign to their own font, Queens of the Stone Age and record label Matador Records have also stashed three sets of tickets at the 57th, 14th and Canal Street stops along the Q line.
Surely, the tickets are gone by now (although you never know) but credit Queens for a clever marketing strategy to hype up one of the biggest shows they’ll play this year in support of their excellent new album Villains.
