Premiere: Vinegar Mother _The Sunny Seat_ EP

November 11, 2016

On November 18, progressive soul quartet Vinegar Mother will release their debut EP, The Sunny Seat. The group first came together in 2012 when Julia Zivic (lead vocals), Itamar Gov-Ari (keys, guitar and vocals) and Jason Zivic (drums) started performing together as Julia Zivic & The Brothers. That group took home second place in the International TalentHouse Jimi Hendrix Competition for their version of “Red House.” As the group continued to expand their sound they three musicians evolved into Vinegar Mother, which now also features bassist Mike Roninson.

As for their forthcoming release, which we premiere today, the band tells Relix, “”The Sunny Seat EP is composed of 5 songs that give listeners a taste of who we are as a band. Our music is sentimental, soulful but fierce, and it definitely foreshadows how positively excited we feel about our future creative endeavors.”

The group’s upcoming tour dates appear below the stream.
