The Infamous Stringdusters will release Undercover Vol. 2 on October 27. This new EP, which is a follow-up to 2015’s Undercover, once again presents the band’s interpretations of other artists’ material. Undercover Vol. 2 features versions of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven,” The Allman Brothers Band’s “Jessica,” Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” along with the song we are premiering today, My Morning Jacket’s “Golden.”

The Stringdusters’ Andy Hall tells Relix, “The My Morning Jacket song ‘Golden’ is a modern original take on a classic country song. It has this wonderful ethereal vibe, but maintains almost a bluegrass feel. The Dusters try to bridge that same gap, so we wanted to give it a go. As with all the songs on this project we recorded everything totally live, vocals and all. Our bands thrives on each other’s energy in a live setting and we wanted to capture as much of that as possible.”
