Phish, Twiddle Mentioned on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’
The Dan Patrick Show can definitely veer off into some weird tangents, particularly in a slower time for sports as we await the start of March Madness. On today’s show, Dan and the Danettes went there again as someone suggested Patrick listen to Twiddle.
The conversation led to Patrick reminiscing about Trey Anastasio’s 2003 appearance on his radio show (Patrick was then at ESPN before moving to his current home on NBC) prior to Phish singing the National Anthem at the NBA Finals. As Scott Marks (@bizarchive) reported on Twitter, Patrick joked Anastasio looks like tennis legend Boris Becker (he definitely does) and that he doesn’t quite get Phish.
So, there you have it. Phish and Twiddle make it to Dan Patrick. What a time to be alive.
