Phish Spoofs _The Godfather_ With Abe Vigoda

In all of Phish’s years of pushing the limits of comedy and humor in music, last night may have produced their best moment yet. 92-year old Abe Vigoda joined the band on stage. Vigoda, known for his work in such films as The Godfather, Barney Miller and Joe Versus the Volcano, jumped on stage with the Vermont quartet during their costume set, where the band covered their upcoming album Wingsuit, to dance in a giant wombat suit during the song “Wombat.” After the set, the band played this short video on the video screens inside Boardwalk Hall, spoofing the iconic scene featuring Don Gordleone.
