Phish kicked off their summer tour with three shows at Chicago’s Northerly Island with a run that included two monumental jams as the group unleashed a 27-minute “Simple” on Saturday and a 20-minute “Carini” on the final night. Throughout, the group also showcased a bevy of new originals and debuts throughout as they charge towards their 13-night run at Madison Square Garden beginning this Friday.
