Pearl Jam at Barclays Center (A Gallery)

October 19, 2013

Pearl Jam rolled into Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Friday night for the first of two completely sold out shows. Playing the new arena for the first time, the Seattle rockers moved through a 33-song setlist that featured eight new cuts from their recent release Lightning Bolt as well as other material from their 20+ years of music. The band took the stage to the somber "Pendulum" before transitioning into the even more somber and emotional "Release" from Ten. The crowd made it apparent they were feverishly awaiting Eddie Vedder and company, as the energy remained consistently high throughout the nearly three-hour performance. Pearl Jam returns to Barclays tonight. Check out photos from the show courtesy of Bill Kelly and Vernon Webb.
