Tonight, the Washington Wizards will go into a winner-take-all game seven against the Boston Celtics and Nils Lofgren is making sure the band isn’t going into the hostile Boston Garden without some motivation. 

On his YouTube channel, Lofgren reimagined his 1978 classic anthem “Bullets Fever” into “Wizards Fever” as a necessary rallying cry for the team, which of course changed their name to the Wizards in 1997, as they head into a tough game 7 on the road. While this version isn’t quite as expansive as the one Lofgren wrote in 1978 after watching the then-Bullets beat the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the NBA playoffs on their way to DC’s first and only championship, it’s a nice reminder of the glory days.
