New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2018 (A Photo Retrospective)

As we dive deep into the summer festival season, we’re looking back a bit to the 2018 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which took place over two weekends in late April and early May. The legendary festival always features a cultural gumbo that mixes a vast array of genres with the iconic blues, jazz and funk for which the Big Easy is universally renowned, and this year the seven days offered sets from Aerosmith, Sting, Jimmy Buffett, Jack White, Beck, Lionel Richie, David Byrne, Anita Baker, LL Cool J, Khalid, Sturgill Simpson, Jack Johnson, Cage the Elephant, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Smokey Robinson, The Revivalists, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Juanes, Lyle Lovett, Toots and The Maytals, Aaron Neville, Irma Thomas, The Radiators, Jon Batiste and The Dap-Kings, Big Freedia, Buddy Guy, Old Crow Medicine Show, Blind Boys of Alabama, John Mayall, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Charles Lloyd, Dumpstaphunk, Galactic, Better Than Eztra, Tab Benoit, Tank and the Bangas, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Soul Rebels, Anders Osborne, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and so many more.
