New Best Friends Bob Weir and John Mayer Blow Out Birthday Candles Together

John Mayer and Bob Weir share the same birthday, which as you probably know, is today. The Dead & Company guitarists celebrated their special days together, as they ready to hit the road with Kreutzmann, Hart, Chimenti and Burbridge, and posed for a photo posted on the Dead & Co. Facebook page.
It seems like rehearsals for the Dead & Company tour that kicks off October 29 in Albany are going just swimmingly, as Weir had high praise for the guitarist in a recent interview, saying that Mayer’s “enthusiasm for this is amazing.” Adding, “I couldn’t believe it. He learned the songs, has great enthusiasm, and he’s a great guitar player. So he fits in perfectly.”
