Tonight at 1^st Ward at Chop Shop in Chicago, Old Shoe will celebrate the release of their new studio album, Country Home. This record, which features 13 original tunes, is the follow-up to the Americana quintet’s 2013 record Family. The band co-produced the record along with Chris Harden who also engineered and mixed Country Home at I.V. Labs Studio in Chicago where Old Shoe recorded Family.

The group’s Matt Robinson tells Relix,”Each time we make a record, we react in interesting ways to the previous one. We made a concerted effort on Country Home to get as much on tape as possible at the same time. We grew up listening to these classic albums that were created with everyone in the same room, and we were after that old school rock n’ roll magic.”
