Netflix is Offering Offline Downloadable Content So You Can Own Bob Weir’s Stellar Documentary For Life

November 30, 2016

Remember that great Bob Weir documentary put out on Netflix last year? Now you can own it forever as the streaming service is finally introducing an offline mode where users can download content to stream later at their leisure.

That means, if you haven’t exactly gotten around to watching Weir’s stellar documentary dubbed The Other One: The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weir, you can go ahead and get on that now, give it a download and save it for a rainy day if you’d like. The fascinating profile includes narration from Weir himself along the way, tracing his rise as a young cowboy to the height of the Grateful Dead, along with appearances from his fellow Dead bandmates and other collaborators.

Watch the trailer below for a quick refresher, and of course if you’re looking for some other music documentaries to stash away, might I suggest Keith Richards’ Under the Influence or the harrowing tale of Ginger Baker, Beware of Mr. Baker
