NBA MVP Stephen Curry is a Huge Mumford & Sons Fan
Yesterday, the NBA finally announced what we all knew–Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is the MVP of the 2014-15 season. Curry was simply incredible this year, averaging almost 24 points and 7 assists for the 65-win Warriors. Even better than his performance on the court was his acceptance speech yesterday, which you should all take some time to watch.
You know Curry has a lights out jumper and a crossover that’ll make your head spin, but what you probably didn’t know about the NBA’s newest king is that he’s a big time Mumford & Sons fan. Not only did he accept the MVP award on the same day the band dropped their latest album Wilder Mind, he also hung out with Marcus Mumford (along with his wife) at a show in Berkeley, CA. A “day in the life” video on his YouTube account is also set to “I Will Wait.” Watch it below.
Curry has also tweeted about the band several times, including at the band’s show at Berkeley, CA.
