Mardi Gras in NYC (A Gallery)

February 15, 2018

New York City hosted a number of musical Mardi Gras celebrations earlier this week, bringing the spirit of the Big Easy up to the Big Apple. On Monday night, Brooklyn Bowl celebrated Lundi Gras with a trio of New Orleans artists, John Michael Bradford, Soul Brass Band and Glen David Andrews. Fat Tuesday was filled with its own NYC offerings, with the Blue Note hosting Davell Crawford and Pedrito Martinez for a night of music honoring NOLA legends Fats Domino and Professor Longhair, and B.B. King Blues Club welcoming George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic for the funk icons’ sixth annual Mardi Gras party in Times Square. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the three shows.
