Marc Maron Has Funny Jamband Tangent in New Netflix Special

September 11, 2017

If you don't know Marc Maron's work outside of interviewing your favorite musicians on his excellent WTF Pod, then now is a good time to dive in. The comedian's new Netflix special Too Real premiered this week and he has a particularly funny jamband bit thrown in there.

Grateful Dead redditor pieced Maron's comments together that start with someone suggesting he listen to Phish. "I don't know how much time I've got left. And what if I like it? That's like the rest of my life, right? I've got no more room in my heart or my mind for another jamband, man," Maron jokes.

"I've got half the Grateful Dead catalog in there and a three or four Allman Brothers songs. I'm maxed out."

Maron probably has far more than half the Dead's catalog ingrained into his heart and mind. Watch him play "Brokedown Palace" below.
