Brooklyn afrobeat outfit Zongo Junction visited the Relix rooftop in August of 2014 to perform their original “No Discount.” Described as “if the Talking Heads produced a Fela Kuti record of Sun Ra’s music,” the ensemble electrified the warm Manhattan day with their four-piece horns and five-piece rhythm section.
