The National’s Matt Berninger and Joy Williams formerly of the Civil Wars collaborated on the theme song for the new AMC drama TURN. The show, which tells the untold story of America’s first spy ring, will kick off with a song entitled “Hush” featuring Williams and Berninger on vocals. You can listen to the full version below. TURN premieres on Sunday at 9 PM on AMC, a spot held by the legendary Breaking Bad. In other words, these spies better be on Walter White’s level.

About the song, Joy Williams said, “When I was filled in on the premise of TURN, and when I saw the pilot in advance, I was hooked. I leapt at the chance to create something original, and I’m so glad I was able to collaborate with Charlie Peacock and Matt Berninger to contribute to this stellar show.” Berninger added, “I was excited about this show from the second I heard about it, so it was a big thrill when Joy asked me to help write the theme song.”

In other National news, the band is currently off the road but will play three shows at Toronto’s Massey Hall beginning April 9.
