Liam Gallagher Reignites the Blur vs. Oasis Rivalry With Two Tweets
Few rivalries burn as hot as Oasis ad Blur’s turf war that was waged in England during the height of the two Brit rock bands (Hell, Ryan Adams put “Wonderwall” on Love is Hell as a dig at an ex-girlfriend who was a Blur fan). Much of that animosity is gone now, as Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher buried the hatchet enough to even collaborate on a song on the new Gorillaz record.
And then, Liam started tweeting.
In a lightning fast tweet storm earlier today, Liam referred to Albarn as “that gobshite out of Blur” saying that he turned brother Noel “into a massive girl but believe you me next time I see him there’s gonna be a war.”
He continued: “Now that dick out of Blur and the creepy one out of Oasis need to hang their head in shame as it’s no ‘Dancing in the Streets’ as you were.”
