Tomorrow night, Phish will return to Madison Square Garden to kick off their New Year’s Run and what better time to relive one of their more visual and daring escape acts on December 31st as the clock neared midnight. 

Last year, Phish emerged on a tiny b-stage to kick off their third set, a take on “No Men in No Man’s Land,” and a little way’s into the jam Phish was sucked up into an hourglass only to ring in the new year back on the main stage. Maybe if they knew what a horror 2016 would be, they would have hung out in whatever space/time continuum they descended into for the year.
