2016 continues to be the worst, this time rearing her ugly fucking face to claim Prince. If you’re keeping score at home (and I really hope you aren’t) that’s Bowie, Lemmy, Scott Weiland, Phife Dawg, Glenn Frey, Merle Haggard, Paul Kantner and ah fuck it I’m done counting the sadness is too much. 

As you survey the wreckage of this world without Prince, let us never forget the sheer brilliance this man blessed us with during his time on this earth. It doesn’t take an Internet genius to find this performance of Prince completely undressing the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” during the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. But if you’ve never seen it, or just want to watch it again, here it is.
